If you've spent the last year (or three) wondering why you feel so different... exhausted, foggy, anxious, and completely disconnected from the woman you used to be...
you're not imagining it.
And you're not alone.
Most women who find me have already seen two or three doctors and been told their labs look "normal."
What they haven't had is someone sit down with them, look at the full picture, and actually connect the dots.
That's exactly what I do here.
You start with a consultation.
This is where your journey with The Hormonal Pharmacist begins.
If you already have labs and want expert guidance, there’s a clear place to start.
If you need labs and a deeper look at what’s driving your symptoms, there’s a clear place to start there too.
Both options are powerful.
Both lead to clarity, a personalized plan, and real answers.
Choose the starting point that fits where you are right now.
Think of it as an hour with a pharmacist who has spent 30 years learning everything about hormones and who will spend all 60 minutes focused entirely on you, your labs, your symptoms, and your life.
No rushing. No "your levels look fine." Just answers.
During your 60-minute one-on-one consultation,we’ll Review:
✓ Your current symptoms
✓ Existing lab work
✓ Nutrition and eating habits
✓ Exercise and movement
✓ Stress levels and nervous system health
✓ Sleep quality
✓ Gut health
✓ Toxin exposure
✓ Current supplements
✓ Prescription medications
✓ Hormone history and prior treatments.
You’ll Receive:
✓ A personalized 25–30 page Functional Medicine Protocol Plan
✓ Lab interpretation in plain English
✓ Supplement and lifestyle recommendations
✓ Hormone education and next steps
✓ Recommendations to discuss with your physician.
I work alongside your physician, not around them. If BHRT is appropriate, I'll help guide that conversation with your provider and your pharmacy.
If after reviewing your intake form I don't believe I can add meaningful value to your care, I'll tell you and you won't be charged.
I'm Melinda Fowler, a pharmacist with nearly 30 years of experience who got tired of watching women be dismissed.
For most of my career, I was the pharmacist answering questions.
Then I became the patient asking them.

Like so many women, I found myself struggling with symptoms that didn’t make sense and searching for answers that felt frustratingly incomplete. I knew something was changing, but I couldn’t find anyone who was connecting the dots.
That journey led me down an eight-year path of studying hormones, functional medicine, nutrition, metabolism, thyroid health, and the many factors that influence how women feel during midlife.
Today, I use that knowledge to help women understand their symptoms, their labs, and their options so they can move forward with confidence.
And while my journey started as a patient looking for answers, I happened to have 30 years of pharmacology experience to help me find them.
Because I, myself, became the patient.
This consultation is what I wish I had when I was trying to figure all of this out.
Get Your Labs First → Hormones From Home Testing
No doctor's order needed. Results in days. Then we talk.

You've been trying to figure this out on your own for long enough.
You've read the articles. Followed the accounts. Bought the supplements. Maybe even printed out studies to bring to your doctor — who looked at them for 30 seconds and handed you an antidepressant.
Here's what no one has done for you yet: sat down with your actual symptoms, your actual labs, and your actual life and built a plan specifically for you.
That's what this consultation is.
After one session, you'll walk away knowing: what your hormones are actually doing, why you've been feeling this way, and exactly what to do next.
That’s how you get:
Clarity instead of confusion
A plan instead of guesswork
Confidence instead of frustration
No. The consultation is a private-pay service and is not billed through insurance.
Many women come to me after being told their labs are “normal” while still struggling with symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, poor sleep, hot flashes, low libido, anxiety, or simply not feeling like themselves.
The reality is that insurance-based medicine is often limited by time. My consultation allows us to spend a full 60 minutes reviewing your symptoms, labs, health history, and lifestyle factors so we can look for patterns and root causes—not just whether a lab falls within a reference range.
The goal is to help you understand why you feel the way you do and give you a clear roadmap for moving forward.
Labs are required for me to put together your plan. We test... we don't guess. While symptoms provide important clues, sometimes it’s difficult to determine exactly what’s driving those symptoms without seeing what’s happening beneath the surface. Labs help us connect the dots and understand the patterns behind how you’re feeling.
If you’ve had lab work completed within the last 3-6 months, we can often use those results. If additional testing is needed, I can order that for you before I put together your plan.
I will also guide you on the timing of your labs when appropriate because timing matters—especially when it comes to hormone testing. A perfectly healthy hormone level drawn at the wrong time can create confusion, while a properly timed lab can provide meaningful insight.
That’s completely fine.
Many women schedule a consultation before ever starting hormone therapy.
The purpose of the consultation is to understand your symptoms, review your labs, identify patterns, and determine what options may make sense for you.
Some women decide hormone therapy is appropriate and if so, I send a formal recommendation to your prescriber for your prescription.
Others focus on nutrition, supplements, sleep, stress, metabolic health, or other foundational areas first.
There is no pressure and no one-size-fits-all approach... each plan is personalized.
The goal is to give you clarity so you can make informed decisions about your health.
My process is a little different than a traditional medical appointment.
Before your consultation, I review your intake forms, symptoms, health history, and lab work. I then create your personalized Functional Medicine Protocol Plan before we ever get on the call.
Once your plan is complete, you’ll receive a link to schedule your consultation from my calendar, where we’ll spend 60 minutes reviewing everything together.
Because of the time and preparation involved, I only accept a limited number of consultation clients each week.
My goal is to ensure every woman receives the time, attention, and personalized recommendations she deserves.

I can not even express how much her knowledge and guidance has changed my life! I was anxious, exhausted, mental fog, emotional and experiencing rapid weight gain. Doctor after doctor, your labs are “normal”, you’re getting older, exercise more/eat less….for 3 years I went through this. Living in what felt like someone else’s body. Feeling frustrated and hopeless. From the moment I started Melinda’s comprehensive intake form, I knew this was going to be different. I was more than just a patient- I was a woman desperate for help and she was going to get to the bottom of it. It’s been 5 months since my initial consultation and I feel like a better version of my old self! If you’re experiencing the systems, tired of getting the run around and ready to get your life back…book your consultation now! You invest in your family, job, church, friends…invest in yourself! You’ve earned it. YOU DESERVE IT!

Thanks to Melinda, I am able to sleep again! I have more energy during the day. Digging deeper and figuring out what my body needed to naturally shift back to what it should be without any negative side effects. She gives you knowledge, peace of mind, and the tools to help you feel your best.
— Lindsey, 44
For years, I was told my labs were normal, but I knew something wasn’t right. I was exhausted, gaining weight, sleeping poorly, and just didn’t feel like myself anymore. Melinda was the first person who took the time to look at the whole picture. She explained my labs in a way I could actually understand and connected dots that no one else had connected. I left our consultation feeling hopeful for the first time in years. The plan she created became my roadmap, and I finally felt like I had a clear path forward.

She is very knowledgeable on different types of therapy and offered guidance on different plans that would benefit my body during the menopause journey. She is very compassionate and understands my feelings with all the questions that I had for her. Her answers were always helpful and on a level that I could understand. She has done research on hormones and it is very evident.
